Inclusive Education (Easy English Course)

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is for teachers working with students with special educational needs in mainstream and special education schools. Participants will be given a general introduction to the main disabilities, such as learning disabilities (dyslexia, dyspraxia), emotional and behavioral disorders (ADHD, ADD, Depression, Bipolar), intellectual and physical disabilities and impairment, and developmental disabilities (Autism). It is designed to offer a deeper understanding of class dynamics, students’ well-being, learning success, and family involvement in inclusive schools, for teachers with low English skills.
METHODOLOGY:
– Participants will be given a series of hands-on activities to prevent isolation and disruptive behaviors from the beginning of the school year, considering peer interaction and peer support as fundamental elements to build social skills and self-confidence.
– They will also experience effective relaxation techniques and movement-based activities, to be used with students with special needs and the rest of the class.
– A mix of pictures, videos, step‑by‑step instructions, and collaborative activities guarantees that no participant is left behind. Participants remain engaged through group learning, with continuous support always available.
– The course explains every concept in clear, simple English and employs a variety of tools to ensure full comprehension. The trainer, experienced in supporting learners with limited English proficiency, provides additional assistance whenever necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
– For participants on A1-A2 language level.
– Please remember to bring your own laptop, as it will be required during the course.

INNE INFORMACJE:
– Kurs skierowany jest głównie do uczestników programu Erasmus+.
– W cenie kursu zawarte zazwyczaj dwie aktywności kulturalne, w tym wycieczka całodniowa w trakcie weekendu (zazwyczaj sobota).
– Certyfikat: Aby otrzymać certyfikat po kursie, wymagane jest minimum 80% obecności na zajęciach.
– Harmonogram i rozkład zajęć: To szkoła ustala plan zajęć. Zajęcia odbywają standardowo od poniedziałku do piątku w godzinach 9:00-14:00 lub 14:00-19:00.
– Program kursu: Powyżej przedstawiony przykładowy program zajęć jest orientacyjny i może różnić się w zależności od trenera, który będzie go przeprowadzał, jak również od sugestii i próśb uczestników co do treści, które chcieliby uwzględnić w trakcie kursu. Dokładny plan zajęć wraz z harmonogramem przesyłany jest do uczestników na około tydzień-dwa przed kursem. Mail wysyłany jest przez nauczyciela prowadzącego zajęcia.
UWAGA! Dla rezerwacji na mniej niż 8 tygodni od daty rozpoczęcia kursu, szkoła zagraniczna dolicza dodatkową opłatę za późną rezerwację w kwocie 60 EUR i dolicza ją do ceny kursu!
