English for University Lecturers
[ALP-HE]
COURSE SUMMARY:
This immersive course offers you a chance to hone your English language skills in a supportive, professional environment while also discussing a range of aspects relevant to your day-to-day working life and wider roles and responsibilities. The course is organised into broad and interesting topics with a strong practical element where you will have numerous chances to practise the delivery of mini ‘lectures’ in the English language. A cultural trip included in the course will be the foundation for personal research and presentation techniques. You will be encouraged to reflect on your own practice, as well as offer peers support on theirs.
